I'm a second year PhD at the Astrophysics Research Institute in Birkenhead (One year to go in October. EEEP!). I enjoy tenpin bowling, punk, rock, and happy hardcore music. I'm also a big fan of anime, my favourite being Slayers. Favourite characters are Lina and Gourry, Gourry mainly because I think I'm most like him personality wise...yes forgetful. Really excited with the new anime after it being so long since it was last aired and there seems to be a lot of new exciting stuff coming out for this series.

More recently I got into Japanese Rock or J-Rock, with my favourite band being X-Japan. Their guitarist hide was an absolute legend, but died in 1999.

I'm in a relationship with [personal profile] savvyliterate which started in November 2007, which has made me incredibly happy and so lucky. *remembers back to fanboying all her fanfics*
